Four Week Group Guitar Class - Session One
Group guitar will meet online through Zoom. The class will meet for 45 minutes each session. Recordings of each class will be available for those who miss the instruction and are not able to attend.

Week 1:
Preparing to Play - Stretches, Finger Warm Ups, Open String Warm Up, Finger Drills
Warming Up with Scales - C Major Scale, C Major Scale in Triplets, C Major Scale in Eighth Notes
Warming Up with Melodies - This Land is Your Land
Week 2:
Blues in A - The Boogie, The Shuffle, A Minor Pentatonic Scale, A Minor Pentatonic Guitar Solo
Week 3:
Strumming Patterns - The Boom Chick, The “Against the Wind”, The Island Strum
Week 4:
Notes on the Fret Board

Q: What level class is this?
A: Our group guitar classes are designed for advanced beginners who are able to play some basic chords and read TAB.
Q: Will I receive any materials?
A: You’ll receive a .pdf workbook at the beginning of the session that includes all of the materials you’ll need for class.
Q: Who will be teaching this class?
A: This session will be led by Annie Stokes, Washington DC area guitarist and performer. For more info on Annie, visit our teachers page.
Cancellations / Missed classes
Unfortunately we will not be able to offer refunds for missed classes in the sessions. Classes will be recorded and available to view afterwards for any students who have missed the class.
