Lesson Plan: Fall and Halloween Inspired Songs

It’s that time of year! The summer is slowing down and families are starting to settle into their fall routine.

I’ve loved using season-themes in my lessons to introduce new songs, artists, composers, and music concepts to my students. It keeps them interest in class and can break up the “usual” lessons.

I always ask students if their families celebrate Halloween before jumping into fall songs. Some families choose not to participate in Halloween for personal reasons. If you have a family doesn’t celebrate Halloween, stick to the “fall” themed songs on this list.
